Raw denim is sized to stretch. A rigid 14oz jean will give roughly an inch in the waist over the first month, and slightly more at the knee, so buy it snug enough that you are aware of it but not so snug that you cannot sit down.
The rise matters more than the leg. Get the waist sitting where you actually want it and the rest of the fit tends to resolve itself.
Do not wash it for the first two or three months if you can help it. The fades that make selvedge worth the money only develop if the indigo has time to wear off where you crease it.
